Shrewsbury PA Sweatshirt – Navy Seal (Est. 1834)

The Navy Seal Shrewsbury emblem on a Gildan 18000 heavy blend crewneck. On White and Sport Grey it prints as a solid navy disc; on Dark Heather, Black and Navy the disc drops out entirely, leaving just the gold ring and cream type so it reads as an emblem rather than a sticker.

One Mile Long, Half a Mile Wide

The borough that Pennsylvania chartered on August 9, 1834 was a specific and rather narrow shape. The area delineated ran roughly one mile long and half a mile wide, stretching lengthwise along the York–Baltimore Turnpike, with the borough centre sitting at the crossroads.

That is a town built around a road rather than a square. It explains why Main Street still carries most of what people picture when they think of Shrewsbury, and why the Shrewsbury Historic District — listed on the National Register in 1984 with 152 contributing buildings — runs as a ribbon rather than a block.

The borough covers about 1.8 square miles today, in southern York County.
